Jacob was born in 1898 in Russia. He was the son of George Klein and Emilie Kuhler. He never married and had no children. He farmed north of Esk, SK. Jack passed away in 1921 and was buried in Esk Lutheran Cemetery, north of Esk, Saskatchewan.
