Saint John's Cemetery, Saint Bernard, Hamilton County, Ohio, USA
Will of his mother, Mary Louisa Klumb: Ohio US Wills and Probate Records, 1786-1998, Hamilton Wills, VOL 107-109, 1908-1909.
Victor Emanual Klumb was the maternal grandfather to my mother, whom she never met because he died of TB when he was young.
Victor Emanual Klumb married Meta Agnes Marie Bromberger on 2 NOV 1898 (Ohio, US, County Marriages, 1774-1993, Hamilton County, 1898-1901) and fathered three daughters: Rosella Louisa Klumb, 1900 Federal US Census, Find-a-Grave; Viola M. Klumb (Florida Death Index, 1887-1998, Find-a-Grave); and Luella Mary Klumb (Florida Death Index, 1887-1998, Find-a-Grave)
Back in the late 1980s, I tried to find any information that I could on my mother's grandfather, Victor Emanual Klumb. Those were the days before the World Wide Web being available in households. I finally discovered Victor's burial spot, which thrilled my mother to know. She had gone her entire life not knowing her maternal grandather, and her mother, Rosella, died when Mom was two years old. Rosella died of peritonitis as a complication of childbirth. Mom's father, Earl Forest Sefton, loved her very much, and I have the original notes that he wrote for her eulogy. My mother knew Rosella's sisters, Viola and Luella, and Grandma Meta, but did not know other Klumb family members. She always felt an empty spot in her heart for them.
