Hannah Stewart Knaggs was born on August 30, 1888 in Gourock, Renfrewshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. Her parents were George Knaggs and Elizabeth McLachlan. She married Everett Forest Langille on October 29, 1914. Together they had the following children:

  1. Clyde Langille
  2. Clinton Bradley Langille
  3. Ferne Elizabeth Langille
  4. Rosemary Lilias Langille
  5. Joyce Margaret Langille

She died on August 03, 1951 in Bridgewater, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Obituary

The death of Mrs. Everett Langille, Barss Corner, occurred on Friday, August 3, at the Dawson Memorial hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Gourock, Scotland, 62 years ago, Mrs. Langille was formerly Hannah Stuart Knaggs, daughter of the late George Knaggs and Elizabeth MacLauchlin Knaggs.

Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Ferne (Mrs. Bruce Nickerson), of Halifax; Rosemary (Mrs. Harold Nickerson), at home; Joyce (Mrs. Melbourne Wambolt), Bush Island; and one son, Clinton, at home; also one sister, Miss Lilly Knaggs and one brother, James Knaggs, both in Scotland.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon, August 6, at the Barss Corner United Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. G.W. Sach. Internment was in the Baptist Cemetery, Barss Corner.
