Frederick was born on 25 May 1901 (see 1939 Register), his birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1901 in the Kings Norton district.[1]. He was the son of Walter Knight and Emily Swain.
In the 1911 census Frederick (age 9) was the son of Walter Hayes Knight at 79 Cold Bath Rd, Billesley, Kings Heath, Birmingham, England.[2]
