Notes made by Michelle Wilkes:
There is no record of a Mary Brenchl(e)y of Charing marrying a George Knock (or variants) so removed incorrect spouse (it is likely this spouse has resulted from an assumption that George must have married a Brenchley for the middle name Brenchley to have been passed down). The middle name Brenchley may have come from either George or Ann's family, or may have been just recognition of a close family friend.
There was another George & Ann Knock (nee Vidgeon) who married at Wye in 1899, having children baptised at Wye, Kent just 8 miles away. Their children were: George (b. 1799), John (b. 1803), Henry Danson (b. 1805), Sarah (b. 1806), William (b. 1809), Edward (b. 1811 at Boughton Aluph), James (b. 1813 Boughton Aluph), Catharine (b. 1815), Rueben (b. 1819).
It is likely that more than one family has been conflated here.
Brockton was probably close to Brockton Hall, Charing, Kent, England.
George did not have a daughter named Anne (no baptisms found). So removed incorrect daughter Ann Knock
