Biography
Elizabeth Knox was born on August 29, 1804, in Pendleton, South Carolina, to Frances Fanny Miller, age 36, and JohnA. P. Knox, age 34.
She married Captain James Hogan Dendy in 1826 in Richland, South Carolina, and they had 14 children.
She died on December 25, 1879, in Pickens, South Carolina, having lived a long life of 75 years, and was buried in Oconee, South Carolina, in the Richland Presbyterian Church Cemetery . [1]
