Biography

Burial: Union Dale Cemetery Pittsburgh Allegheny County Pennsylvania, USA Plot: Div 1 Sec S In some records her maiden name is recorded as Cook, which gives us the probable pronunciation of her German maiden name. Daughter of William Koch, of Germany, wife of Salesius Weber, she lived with her son, William Weber, on Maginn Ave., prior to her death. She was buried in Uniondale Feb 8, 1909.

In 1870 Elizabeth was shown owning 2000 dollars worth of real property and 150 dollars worth of personal property. Phillip was an upholsterer, James was an assistant leather inspector, and George was an upholsterer apprentice.

In 1880 David got listed as Phillip; Mary was married to Peter Faubel, and they had two children.

In 1900 Elizabeth stated that she had had six children, with just five living—so James was her son, but apparently died before 1880, although he could have been off and married by then, then died before 1900. The former explanation seems more likely.
