Mathias was born in 1685. He passed away in 1774.

Christian Koplin, the son of Anna Maria Koplin and Mathias Koplin, was baptised ^[1] in 1726 in Berlin.

In 1728, Mathias was listed as ^[2] a Passenger arriving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In 1769, Mathias Koplin ^[3] was on the Tax and Exoneration Record shown owning 2 horses, 2 cows and 1 ram.

In 1774, Mathias Koplin ^[4] was on the Tax and Exoneration Record shown owning 197 acres land and dwelling, 3 horses, 5 cows and 5 sheep. Lot 4 of Marlin Blakely 1/2.

Mathias's estate passed probate. ^[5]

The will of Mathias Koplin listed his son Christian, decd, Christian's wife Deborah, his granddaughter Mary Koplin, and named the executors as his daughter in law Deborah, the widow of son Christian, and her son Mathias Koplin.^[6]
