Biography

Eunice Kathleen Kraemer was born on August 29, 1922, at the home of her Grandmother, Caroline (Peters) Kraemer, at 815 Hancock St., in Appleton, Wisconsin. She was the oldest of two children born to Earl Kraemer and Gertrude (Beckman) Kraemer. She graduted from Appleton High School circa 1940, and went on to vocational school. She worked as a payroll clerk in a paper mill, where she met her husband, Joseph Cornelius Van Grinsven. They married at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute, Wisconsin on September 10, 1949. They settled in Appleton, where they had 4 children. Eunice died on December 10, 2000 at Franciscan Care Center in Appleton, Wisconsin. She is buried in Appleton Memorial Park Cemetery, beside her husband Joe, who died in 2006.
