Elizabeth was likely born in about 1610, most probably at Rowde, Wiltshire. Her maiden name is in some doubt as there are so few examples of it in Wiltshire at the time, hence no baptismal record was found for her nor any siblings. Elizabeth was married to Philip Tice in 1631 at Rowde[1], his third wife. They had six children there, two sons followed by four daughters. Philip then died in 1651 at Rowde and was buried there, leaving a will. Presumably she was sufficiently provided for to be able to remain unmarried and finally died in 1671 at Sopworth, Wiltshire where she was buried[2], recorded as widowed.
