Biography

Louise (Krügener) Lane migrated from HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE to Australia.

Louise Henriette Conradine Krugener was born on January 19, 1806, in Kurfürstentum Braunschweig-Lüneburg (then part of the Holy Roman Empire), and known today as Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony}, Germany, the daughter of August.

She married Heinrich Friedrich Bertram and they had seven children together. She then married Charles Lane in 1872 in Mount Torrens, South Australia, Australia. She lived a long life of 75 years. ^[1]

Louise died on 22 December 1881 and was buried in Ballarat, Ballarat City, Victoria, Australia.^[2]
