Biography
Adam was the son of Wittenberg colonists Christian Kungel and Friedrika Gwinner.[1][2] In 1859, he is enumerated with the family in house #119 as 15 y/o Johann Adam.[3]
He married Christina Schlenker on 12 Nov 1865. Known children:

The family moved from Wittenberg to the daughter colony of Albota some time after Katharina was born in 1874.[5]
