Biography

Michael Horne was born about 1790 (estimated from the birthdate of his oldest son) in Strasbourg, Germany[1]. He married Barbara L'Oborgine (uncertain as to the original formulation of her name), born about the same time. They had two children that are recorded:

  • John Horne, b. 1715 in Strasbourg, and who seems to have migrated to Quebec
  • Jacob Horne b: 1720 Strasbourg, Germany, d: April 16, 1821 Eastern Passage, Halifax Co, Nova Scotia, Age 101.
