On Thursday, 1 Nov 1906 in Blue Pond, DeKalb county, Alabama, Forney Houston LaFollette was born to Jeremiah M "Jerry" LaFollette, (19 Mar 1849 - 21 Oct 1925), and Julia Victoria Johnson LaFollette, (23 Apr 1868 - 28 Feb 1948).

Marriage to Minnie Violet Walker

On 18 May 1928 in Etowah county, Alabama, 21-year-old Forney Houston Lafollette married 38-year-old Minnie Violet Walker daughter of John Hiram Walker, (10 Feb 1840 - 5 Aug 1907), and Mary Catherine Bedford, (14 Feb 1846 - 23 June 1933).

Minnie Walker was 43 years old and Forney LaFollette was 26 years old when they decided to begin a family. Together they raised 2 children, 2 daughters. In chronological order the children are:

Death

On Thursday night, 30 Jun 1966, while driving on US Highway 431 in Huntsville, Madison county, Alabama, 59 year-old Rev. Forney Houston LaFollette and his wife, 76-year-old Minnie Violet Walker LaFollette of Shelbyville, Tennessee, collided with another automobile. They were instantly killed in the crash. In the other car were 25-year-old Ronald Axel Boner of Huntsville, Alabama and 24-year-old Kenneth Byrd of Owens Crossroads, Alabama, both of whom were also instantly killed.

Burial

Forney Houston LaFollette's remains were laid to rest in Conn Cemetery, Gallant, Etowah County, Alabama, A FAG memorial has been created for him.
