In the 1860 census, Joseph LaVielle, age 19, is residing in Louisville with Sally LaVielle (age 17) and William LaVielle (age 21).

Kentucky marriage records has a certificate of marriage between William LaVielle and Sarah Browder, occurring in Jefferson County, KY on 13 MAR 1860.

In the 1880 census, Wm. T LaVielle is residing in Louisville, KY; his age is given as 40, with an approximate birth date of 1840. Also residing with him are his Kentucky-born wife, May H Lavielle, age 34; and their sons William B (age 16) and Hite K (age 15).

Death certificate for William T LaVielle has a middle initial transliteration error as a "G", though inspection of the document confirms it is a "T".
