Johannes Jacobus Petrus (1818-1896)[1][2] was the son of Johannes Jacobus Labuschagne and Helena Catharina Bekker. In 1839, at the Wesleyan mission house at Fort Beaufort, he married Hester Isabella Marx. They had 15 children. In 1873, he remarried with Susanna Jacomina Venter, and with her he had 10 more children.
