Adithe "Adele" was born on 24 Jun 1816 in Saint-Louis parish in Kamouraska, Bas-Canada, She was the daughter of [[Normandin-371|Zakarie Normandin] and Marie Victoire Deboibriand. She has several first name variants. Her baptismal record lists it as Adithe, but other documents use Adelaide, Adele and Adee. At age 25 Adele married Narcisse Paradis on 19 Oct 1841 in Saint-Louis parish in Kamouraska. Adele died at age 74 on 16 Feb 1891; she was buried in Saint Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Lewiston, Androscoggin, Maine, United States.
