David was born in 1835. He was the son of Wells Lake and Harriet Sabin. He passed away in 1915.

Married: Charlotte Melissa Burbank on 18 December 1869 in Pipestone, Berrien, Michigan.[3][4] She was previously married to Unknown Winnans.

  1. Anna L. Lake. Born on 3 January 1871 and died 26 March 1871 in Pipestone, Berrien, Michigan.[5][6]
  2. Frank A. Lake. Born on 17 August 1873 in Pipestone, Berrien, Michigan. He died before 1910 when his wife was a widow.
  3. Edna Lake. Born on 15 Jan 1875 in Pipestone, Berrien, Michigan.[7]
  4. Loyd Leon Lake. Born on 26 Jan 1879 in Pipestone, Berrien, Michigan.[8]
  5. Ellsworth Lyle Lake. Born on 4 January 1881 in Pipestone, Berrien, Michigan. He died on 23 November 1966 in Lake, Berrien, Michigan.[9]
