BETTY L. MARTIN Betty L. Martin, 71, of Pensacola, loving wife and mother, died Saturday, March 13, 1999 in Pensacola. Mrs. Martin was born in Joplin, MO on May 15, 1927. She was raised in Miami, OK where she married Virgil Martin in June 1946. She had lived in Witchita, KS; Renton and Yakima, WA and Huntsville, AL. She is survived by her husband Virgil of Pensacola; a daughter, Susan Tweedy of Pensacola; four sons, Don and Dennis Martin of Yakima, WA, David Martin of Owens Cross Road, AL and Doug Martin of Seattle, WA; one sister, Ernestine Wilcox of North Miami, OK and nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 PM to 7 PM at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:15 AM Wednesday, March 17, 1999 at the funeral Home. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Pallbearers will include David Martin, Marvin Tweedy, William Pate and Danny Wilcox. PENSACOLA MEMORIAL MEMORIAL GARDENS FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
