Biography
- Hosea Lanier b. ca 1762 Tyrrell District, N.C. d. before 1810
- in Beaufort District, N.C. The 1790 census of Beaufort
- showed him with a wife and two females, presumably
- daughters. In 1788, possibly when he was twenty-one or
- more, his father gave him 640 acres of land which lay
- partly in Martin County, and partly in Beaufort County.
- No further record, as the early records of Beaufort Co.
- are lost.
