Levi Lapham (Jethro, Thomas, John, John), was born 27 Dec 1767, at Glocester RI, the son of Jethro & Amy (Bassett) Lapham. He died at Uxbridge, MA 24 Aug 1847. He married Sarah Burlingame, the daughter of Capt. David & Mehitable (Bishop) Burlingame, on 13 Mar 1786. Their children were all born at Glocester:
Amey Lapham born 2 Sep 1786; m. March 17, 1805, Simon White of Glocester, R. I. (in Uxbridge)
Richard Lapham born 19 March 1790; m. Phebe Arnold, b. 1 Dec 1791, daughter of Noah Arnold, a prominent citizen of Burrillville, R. I. He was a Wesleyan Methodist minister.
Lucina Lapham of Burrillville, b. April 25, 1792; married 1810 Lieut. Alanson Benson, son of Aaron and Lydia (Fairbanks) Benson of Douglas, Mass.
Job Lapham born 6 Sep 1794. Killed at the Battle of Lake Erie, 13 Sep 1813, m. Prussia Ballou, b. 1795; d. Sept. 7, 1853, dau. of Jirah and Ester (Wood) Ballou, and granddaughter of Eleazur and Phebe Lapham. She m. (1) Job Lapham; (2) David Mead; (3) Clark Jillison.
Amasa, born . Aug. 7, 1796; m. Jan. 23, 1823, Belinda Humes.
Jethro born 26 April 1798; m. July 4, 1819, Sarah Burlingame, daughter of Esek Burlingame.
Enos born 22 Nov 1800; married Phoebe Brown
Thomas Jefferson born 1802; m. Mary Edna Comstock.
Levi Lapham born 20 April 1805; m. Freelove Aldrich. [1]
Levi Lapham, son of Jethro, and Sarah Burlingame, daughter of Capt. David; were married by Jonathan Harris, Justice, March 13, 1786.[2]
Research notes
It seems odd but is entirely possible that Levi, son of Jethro, who married Sarah Burlingame, had a son Jethro who married Sarah Burlingame.
