John Larned was born on June 20, 1758 in Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. His parents were John Learned and Miriam Smith. [1] [2]

John and Martha Wakefield announced their intentions to marry in Oxford, Nov. 3, 1781. [2]

He married Martha Wakefield May 29, 1783 in Dudley, Worcester County, Massachusetts. [1] [9]

  1. Daniel Learned, b. July 19, 1782. In Dudley.
  2. Abia Learned, b. Nov. 19, 1784.
  3. Theoda Learned, b. July 14, 1786.
  4. Martha Learned, b. Oct. 4, 1788.

Martha, wife of John, died in Oxford, May 26, 1794. [1]
