Mrs. Catherine Lawless Knight, 95, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Eastridge, Route 1, Campbellsville, at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, after a short illness. She was the last member of five generations of her family. Her husband was the late J. M. Knight. He died in 1935. Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Eastridge, is another daughter, Mrs. Harrison Rainwater, Liberty, Kentucky; three sons, Willie Knight, Campbellsville; Elza Knight, Knifley; Robert L. Knight, Iowa City, Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Christie Chapel Methodist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. Ernest Dixon officiated and burial was in Hardin Cemetery. Pallbearers were Asure Knifley, Luther Cooper, Stanley Williams, Bob Stapleton, Coy Eastridge and Bob Mings.
