Biography
When Emily Lawrence was born on May 7, 1810, in St Johnsbury, Vermont, her father, Hubbard Lawrence, was 37, and her mother, Mary Goss, was 29. She married Ebenezer Graves on February 4, 1836, in her hometown. They had one child during their marriage. She died on April 30, 1884, in Albion, Michigan, at the age of 73, and was buried there.
