Biography
John Laws is a part of US Black heritage.
John was born in 1886 in North Carolina. According to his death certificate, he was the son of Benjamin Laws and Eliza Walker.[1]
He married Martha Pitt on 6 July 1912 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.[2]
He died on 9 December 1946 at home in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.[1]

Note that the parents listed on the death certificate (Benjamin Laws and Eliza) may not be correct. They were already old for children in 1880.
