Leo Lawson, a former resident of Milton but for the past few years a farmer in the Umapine District, was killed instantly when the boom of a hay derrick came in contact with a high tension power line. Mr. Lawson .... were moving a hay derrick from one field to another when the accident occurred. It is supposed that the men overlooked the power line strung alongside the road across which they were moving the machine. When the boom came in contact with the wire Mr. Lawson was killed instantly...Survived by wife and two daughters (names not given)
