Biography
Could be the Thomas Laxon, son of William and Elizabeth, christened at Holy Trinity, Coventry 22 Jun 1765.[1] His other, younger, siblings were christened at the nearby St. Michaels, which is where his parents William and Elizabeth were married. However, Holy Trinity is where his father was christened. Assuming this is all correct, of course!
His son Charles Laxon was born in 1817 at St. Michael, Coventry[2] so Thomas was probably at least 20, therefore born before 1797. If his oldest child was in fact Thomas born 1800, then he would have to have been born before 1780. If it is the Thomas christened in 1765 and married in 1798 (age 33), he would have been 52 at the birth of son Charles (!), and his wife would have been at least 40, which is feasible.
Thomas Laxon married Elizabeth Essex 20 Aug 1798 at St. Michael, Coventry. Occupation ribbon weaver[3].
