Biography
Louis was baptized at the age of 2 months in Memramcook on 16 Jun 1825. He is the son of Charles Leblanc and Marguerite LeBlanc. His godparents were Laurent LeBlanc and Anne Porel.[1]
Louis married Marie LeBlanc 2 Oct 1844 in Barahcois. Groom's parents listed as Charles LeBlanc and Marguerite LeBlanc, residents of St-Anselme. Bride's parents listed as late Thibaud LeBlanc and Julie Dupuis, also residents of St-Anselme.[2]
Louis married Marie Bourque on July 1, 1956. as recorded in the Memramcook church register. Witnesses were Ferdinand LeBlanc and Hélène LeBlanc. A note was added with indicates that Louis was the son Charles from St-Anselme and Marie was the daughter of Frédéric Bourque from Shediac Road and Isabelle 'à Roma' (daughter of Roma).There is also a note under Louis' name indicating it is a second marriage.[3]
