Biography
Marie Leocade LeBlanc was the daughter of Desire Leblanc III of St. James Parish and Marguerite Marcelle Leblanc (Leblanc) of St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish.
She was baptised in St. James, St. James, LA., SJA-3, 379, Bt. 20 Mar 1816. Married to Edmond Gilles LeBlanc on 10 Feb 1834 and died at age 89 in New Iberia in late September of 1904. New Iberia, IBERIA, LA., SP Ch V 3 P 162, Burial Sep 29 1904. She lived the last few years of her life with her son Joseph Gabriel and his family.
