Marguerite Danis was married to Joseph Isaac Letendre 16 Jan 1837 in St-David (Yamaska),[1] both of them being widowed, Marguerite is only listed by her given name on the record, she was widow of Antoine Laroch (sic), Josph Isaac was widower of Geneviève Chapdelaine dite Larivière.
Joseph Isaac Letendre is listed on the 1851 census at St-David (cultivateur age 66) with his wife Marguerite 'Inconnue' age 41. Listed with them are 9 Letendre children ranging in age from 2 to 24 years of age. The oldest of them a son Antoine born at Manchester, U.S. is probably a child of Joseph Isaac's first marriage to Geneviève Larivière who died in 1828.[2]
