Biography
- Elizabeth le Poer-Trench (1800-1864) was the third daughter of the Most Rev. Power Trench and Anne Taylor.
- She married Captain Henry Gascoyne 26 January 1830 on 15 January 1830 at Tuam Co. Galway Ireland.
- Press cutting - Globe, London 26 January 1830 - Marriages: At Tuam, Capt. Henry Gascoyne, 34th regiment, son of General Gascoyne M P. for Liverpool, to Elizabeth, third daughter of his Grace the Lord Archbishop of Tuam.
They had at least two daughters, the second of whom, Fanny, later married.
Press cutting-Cork Constitution 25 April 1863-Marriages: On Wednesday (19 Apr. 1876) at Ballinasloe Church Co. Gallway, George Frederick Gildea Esq., Captain 21st. Royal Fusiliers, to Fanny Power, secod daughter of Henry Ireland Gascoyne Esq., of Mackney Townland, Co. Galway, late Captain 34th Regt.
