George was born on the 1sr Sep 1829 and baptised on the 20th Sep 1829 at Leeds St Peter Church, Yorkshire, England. George is the son of George Leach and Elizabeth Hemingway. At the time of George's baptism the family were living in the Bank area of Leeds and George senior was a Cloth Dresser. [1]
