She died 1 Feb 1894 in Penicuik, Midlothian, Scotland.[6]

Death source states Mother's maiden name is Ramsay, which does not match the linked mother. No Birth source is found on Scotland's People for Jane / Janet / Jean as a child of Thomas Leadbeater / Leadbetter and Catherine / Katherine Maxwell. There is a birth source for Elisabeth Boyd, b 17 Oct 1822 and christened 24 Nov 1822,[7] as well as other children of that couple.

Yes Linda. I agree that these two Janets should be merged - they are the same person (just from different perspectives daughter and wife/mother). I agree the two dates are probably birth date and a Christening date. Janet's daughter Catherine married her cousin, Robert Leadbetter (Robert Snr and Janet were brother & sister).
