Biography

Jack was born in 1880. He is the son of David Laird and Susannah Lewis.

Joseph H. Leard along with his wife Belle, brothers; Madison and Jack Leard, half sister Maud Early, half brother Henry “Hugh” Early, nephew Frank David Leard and son of Maud Early, Elihu Vernable were determined of such status as would entitle them to enrollment as citizens by blood or intermarriage in the Choctaw nation and could not be found on any tribal rolls of the Choctaw Nation.[1]
