Marie Alphonsine was born on 16 Feb 1888 in Saint-Ephrem, daughter of Joseph Leclerc and Emélie Dorval. She was baptised the next day in the parish of Saint-Ephrem-de-Beauce, with Alexis Leclerc and Esther Rauchu(?), widow of Joseph Dorval, the child's grandfather[1].
On 11 Feb 1918 Trefflé Dorval, widower of Lucina Bolduc, married Marie Leclerc, minor daughter of the late Joseph Leclerc and Emélie Dorval, in the parish of St-Evariste-de-Forsyth. Dispensation granted for 2nd degree consanguinity. Witnessed by brother of the groom Stanislas Dorval and brother of the bride Adelbert Leclerc[2].
