Biography
Isaac Lee Ledford was born on 13 December 1863 in Madison County, North Carolina, United States, son of Erwin Leander Ledford and Martha Jane (Russell) Ledford.[1][2]
He married Martha E Moore 5 September 1886 in Spring Creek, Madison County, North Carolina. He was 19 years old.[3] Their children were:

- Austin Fred Ledford
- Cora Emma (Ledford) Adkisson
- Herman Winfield Ledford
- Thomas Carter Ledford
- William A Ledford[4]
- Sarah Belle (Ledford) McCormick

- Iowa C (Ledford) Sims
- Vennie C (Ledford) McMann.
The family moved to Franklin, Stone County, Arkansas about 1903.[5]
Isaac married Grace Olive Richardson on 6 October 1918 in Izard County, Arkansas. They had a daughter, Alpha Beatrice (Ledford) Caraway (1920-2004).[6][7][8]
Isaac died on 15 February 1947 in a Batesville, Arkansas hospital, aged 83.[9][10] He is buried in Reeves Pine Grove Cemetery, Gid, Arkansas in Izard County.[11]
