Biography

Ralph Lee is a part of US Black heritage.

Ralph H. Lee was born in 1907 in Tuskegee, Alabama. He was the son of John R. E. Lee, then teacher at the Tuskegee Institute, and his wife Ardella (nee Wilson).^[1]

In 1920 the family had moved to Kansas City, Missouri, where Mr. Lee was school principal.^[2]

In 1930, Mr Lee had become President of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Ralph was a teacher at Florida A&M.^[3]

In 1940, Ralph Lee, 32, born in Alabama, was a teacher at Kentucky State College. He was married to Inez, they had two sons.^[4]

Ralph is listed in his sister Beatrice Norwood's obituary, as living in Normal, Alabama.^[5]

Ralph Hugo Lee died on 4 July 1985 in Hennepin County, Minnesota,^[6] and was buried in Valhalla Memory Gardens, Huntsville, Alabama.^[7]
