Joseph Leonard Legacy was born on 19 Aug 1922 in Bathurst, Gloucester, New Brunswick, Canada. He was the son of Henry Lagacy and his wife Edith Lavigne. At age 19, Leonard joined the military, serving for over four years in Europe during World War II. Leonard married Andrea Servant on 16 Feb 1949 in Dalhousie, Restigouche, New Brunswick, Canada. Leonard died on 7 May 2016 in Cambellton, Restigouche, New Brunswick.
