Jacob Lenz was born about 1625 in Bechlingen, Lahn-Dill-Kreis, Hesse, Germany. He wed a woman named Elisabeth about 1645. They had one known child Johan Stoffel Lenz. Jacob died 1 February 1683 and was buried the same day in Berghausen, Lahn-Dill-Kreis.
