Dan Leonard of Bridgewater, yeoman died intestate and on 7 October 1771, his widow Mary was granted the administration of his estate. His inventory was taken on 7 October 1771 in Bridgewater.[1]
In 1772, an account of his estate by his widow Mary was recorded which included debts paid, and administration fees. The balance was assigned to Mary given the number of small children she had to support.[2]
In 1781, his daughter Rosamund, above the age of 14 years, made the choice of her mother to be her guardian.[3]
