Norbert Letendre was born and baptized on 4 Sep 1831 in Saint-Michel parish in Yamaska, Bas-Canada. He was the son of Basile Letendre, blacksmith, and Judith Benoit of this parish. Sponsors at Norbert's baptism were Joseph Letendre and ____; neither sponsor signed the register.
