Biography
John Levy was born on Dec 27, 1820 to Nathaniel and Catherine.[1] Although there is no record in this transcription of his marriage to Catherine Gates there are several children attributed to them;
- Daniel - 1842-10-12
- George Isaac - 1844-01-24
- Lucy Ann - 1845-10-02
- Nathan - 1848-09-25
- Jeremiah - 1849-04-20
- Susanna - 1851-02-01
It appears both John Levy and Catherine Barbara (Gates) were deceased by 1871. Some of their children are grouped together. Daviel Levy (29) is present with wife Hannah (28) and their family; Ada (8), Malinda (6), Enos (4), Robert (6 mos) and a sister Rachel (16). Next door is Nathan Levy (23) with wife Emma (20) and a daughter Deborah (2), as well as siblings; Sophia (12) and Benjamin (18). While next door is their Uncle Frederic Levy (46) with his family.[2]
