Biography

Barbara Lewin was born in 1779 in Cloghans, County Mayo. She was the daughter of Thomas Lewin and Elizabeth Ross-Lewin.^[1][2]

Barbara married Ralph Benson.^[1][2]

They had at least two children:

1. Moses George Benson m Charlotte Riou Browne
2. Reverend Ralph Lewin Benson m Amelia St George Browne Dyer^[2]

Barbara Benson died in 1852 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.^[3][4]
