Biography

The daughter of Elihu Lindsley, from New Jersey, and Melissa (Reidout) Lindsley, from New York. Mary Lindsley was born in Saline Township, Michigan^{[citation needed]} in 1848, residing there with her family.^[1][2]

Mary married married Paul Snauble), marrying around 1868, and they having one son together. a son who died of Brights Disease at the age of 26.^[3] Mary and Paul Snauble lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan,^[4][5] were her husband worked as the superintendent at a furniture company.^[6] Widowed in 1910, Mary shared a home in1920 in Ann Arbor, Michigan with her sister, Harriet.^[7]

Mary Snauble died of stomach cancer in 1924,^[8] passing away in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and is buried at Forest Hills Cemetery in Ann Arbor.^[9]
