Biography

James B Little, Lyttle (Lytle) was the son of David Little and Margaret Rowan.

James' Great Aunt, Margaret Boyd was murdered by Thomas Qua in 1808 when James was about 9 years old. The inquisition and hanging of Thomas Qua may very well have contributed to the decision of Jane, James B, and William H Lytle to leave Washington County for Fort Covington, Franklin County before 1830. John Qua and William Qua also moved to Fort Covington.

Jonathan Rich's daughters Rebecca and Ruth married brothers William Herriman Lytle and James B Lytle. Jonathan Rich's son Samuel Rich's daughter Eliza Rich married John Lytle, son of William Herriman Lytle.
