William married Mary Ann Purkiss on 14 May 1837 in Bishopstoke, Hampshire, England.[1]
According to his daughter Mary's baptism record, he was a gunner in the Royal Artillery based in Portobello Barracks, Arbour Hill barracks, Dublin in 1852.
His other daughters are British subjects born in Corfu, with birth records yet to be found
733 Gunner and driver Royal Artillery, joined at Andover 26 October 1835 at the age of 19 years 2 months
Discharged from military 25 August 1857, served six and a half years in Corfu.

You just need to type two equals signs each side of the heading - if you look at it in edit mode, that's exactly what it should look like.
I think William was in barracks in Carlisle in the 1841 census, so probably married there as well. I haven't had any luck in tracking down who he married though!
Oh thank you that’s helpful! It’s difficult as I currently don’t have any ancestry site memberships so am relying on what I can interpret for free. This is mostly why I added info to WikiTree, so that more experienced genealogists may help. My ancestry tree has many many more cousins and sibling links, however the GEDCOM was too large to import, so this will be a painstaking process.
