Biography

He was the son of Henry Long. He passed away about 1563. ^[1]

Thomas' Will names his brother Henry (and Henry's children Thomas, William, Edward, Margaret, and Agnes), his brother Robert (and his daughters Marie, Martha and Magdalan); his sister Margaret Smith (and her ten children, not named); his brother William Long (and his children, not named), his wife Johanne, and his sister Alice Erberie (and her children Thomas, John the younger, Thomas the younger, and Marie Burges). Nephew Edward, son of Henry, was to be his residual heir.

Also named are cousin William Long of London ("now apprentice with Henry Vyner", possibly the Henry Vyner who married his niece Marie Long, daughter of Robert Long of London), cousin Walter Long of Trowbridge, cousin Robert Long of Trowbridge, cousin Richard Horne, cousin Margaret Horton, widow; cousin William Horton and his wife; Robert and Henry Long of Botlars (Butlars), and Dorothy Rogers (wife's cousin).
