Thomas Lounsbury was born in 1678 at Rye, Westchester, Province of New York. He is the son of Richard Lounsbury and Elizabeth Pennoyer. Thomas passed away before 1709.
Thomas’s father, Richard Lounsbury, passed away by December 8, 1694 at Rye, Westchester, New York. His will, proved 7, or 8, December 1694, mentions wife, Elizabeth, and daughter, Mary; gave to son John, a bed, etc.; and to sons Thomas and Michael, all his rights at White Plains, the latter sold out his portion; to his son, Henry, his rights in "Raccone Ridge", and Lame Wills Purchase; required his son Richard's £10 note, "when time is out a cording to bargain". The widow Elizabeth was administratrix. (Selleck-Jacobus: "Miner Ancestry", 1928.) His daughter Mary was mentioned in the recorded will, but not in the published version of Westchester County Wills.[1][2][3]
