Biography
Eliza Lovejoy was born 1839. She is the daughter of Samuel Lovejoy and Cynthia McCown. In 1850 she is enumerated on the federal census in Pope County, Arkansas. [1] Eliza married Granville Gillespie in 1857. [2] In 1860 Eliza and Granville Gillespie are enumerated on the federal census in Kanawha County, Virginia. [3] Granville died in sometime prior to 1870 when Eliza and three daughters are enumerated on the federal census without him. [4] In 1871 Eliza married Nicholas Page. [5] In 1880 they are enumerated on the federal census in Kanawha County, West Virginia. [6]
