Biography

John was born in 1907. He was the son of Wilfrid Lowe and Grace Gyte. In 1937 he married Margaret Cuthbert in North East Cheshire. They had two known children. In later life, John lived at 30 Lambton Road, Worsley, Manchester, England. He passed away in Sep 1987. His will was probated on 3 Dec 1987. It is unknown if he was cremated or buried.

John was a pharmacist and optician, running variously a pharmacy in Mosley Common, and opticians shops in Bolton and 114 Elliott Street, Tyldesley^[8]. The Elliott Street shop remained within the family in 2020.^[7]

Death

John passed away in hospital in Salford on 11 September 1987. ^[10] Probate was awarded on 3 December the same year. ^[6]
